Shame they didnt do the Geminis in 19" really; I do like the Xtremes but not as much as the anthracite Gemini's and wouldnt personally pay extra for them.

The vRS does look great in black though, also think the chrome looks good on a black car too.

Very nice wheels! How is the ride comfort? I was surprised how comfortable it was with the 18" alloy wheels. When testing the RS at a dealer, I had to stop and really think about that I would feel how bumpy it was, and it wasn't :-)

I second that, though I do think the Mallory 18" sitting at the Passat R-line is a bit more sporty, and  looks just a little bit bigger than the 18" Gemini, don't you?

Yeah, love those wheels when I saw the car at Goodwood last year. It was the only choice for mine.

No mate, went for a race blue estate with the Xtremes and so other stuff like black pack and nav. Due in August. What did you decide to do in the end?

Nice one I will look out for you or have a butchers in your company car park the next time I go past. I'm on 86k and they won't change until 100k so on my mileage it won't be for another 4 - 5 months. In the meantime the vRS has gone past the £23.5k budget so will either go for an Elegance hatch or 150 Leon ST. The Elegance is a bit dull and can't get any sports kit...might have to go with the sports suspension, gloss black the alloys and mirrors and vinyl wrap the roof lol!

Wow! Great shot. The car doesn't look like it's on stilts either. Still in two minds whether to get some Eibachs fitted when mine arrives.

Lovely car. Mine's the black hatchback with the same wheels. I thought the ride with the 19s would have been too hard but to be honest, it's almost as smooth as my previous Mk II on 18s.
