Hi i does anyone know from changing track rod ends before roughly how many turns each side should be screwed on?

I have to get it set somewhere close to where it should be until tracking is done next week

Count the number of threads exposed on the existing track rod ends and as a stop gap set the replacements to the same.

 

No two cars are the same, tracking is individual to each car so someone else's settings could leave your tracking miles out.

Sorry should have said tracking has been way out since i bought the car, so copying ain't ideal as i lowered it 2day and its now much worse.

Hopefully get it in on monday for tracking and not have to wait till end of week, I'm not want to waste tyres.

Then i can finally enjoy the car after its previous owner let it deteriorate so much

It doesn't have a set amount, will change from 9 till 19, you can only set it where the old one was and adjust it yourself by eye and trial and error or pay £15? And have it lazer done.

For what it's worth my garage charges £10 for lazer alignment.
