Radio

Featured Replies

Right everyone, gotta a question for you all! I've had my Citigo for a few months now and since it arriving I've noticed the reception on the radio hasn't been great. The past few weeks however, it's just been shocking. I haven't changed anything, and I always listen to radio 1. I've changed frequencies and radio stations to check but it's still the same. And I haven't changed anything on the car or the routes I'm driving but it just seems it's hardly picking anything up. Air quality around the area also hasn't changed and I'm really stumped. Any ideas out there in the land of Skoda?

Possibly a fault with the amplifier in the aerial base, or a poor connection with the co ax lead. On some head units you can hold the menu button for 10 seconds until the screen changes to display ANT on/off and Stereo / mono, if ANT is off it's most likely the amplifier has failed.

Our Citigo had the same problem. Dealer changed the ariel base under the headlining. problem solved.

The amplifier is ON so you need to visit the dealer to sort out the problem under warranty.

I'm having the same issue - variable radio reception quality, from crystal clear to absolutely hopeless - being old and boring I listen to Radio 2 and Radio 4 mostly, so the signal strength should be fine.  I took the car to the dealer but sod's law the radio reception was perfect that day so they said they couldn't do anything.  Very frustrating!
