If Valeo blades are fitted can you switch easily to Bosch, i.e. Do adapters come in the pack?  I looked at mine this morning and the adapter fitted to the blade has a push button to retain it to the wiper arm. Why has this changed from the old MkII easy slide on to the spindle? Grrhhh...

Yes adapters are included but on one set I've had the instructions were wrong but it's not rocket science to figure it out 

 

(then rocket science isn't exactly complicated - mix hydrogen & oxygen etc ... )

Thank you very much, I will see if Europarts have them in stock, the set i saw was £31 with a 30% discount code

I found last week it was cheaper to buy them separately rather than the pair !  Only around £1 but better in my pocket than theirs 

 

also bear in mind and check you have the right ones as they list as for the Passat , you can get the right part numbers from the Halfords site to give yourself the reassurance you have the right ones 

£24 pick up tomorrow, hopefully the clips match.

Thanks for the steer. £22.99 for Bosch Aerotwins using the Service25 code, I take my previous moan back, the adapter was the right one and fitted easily. The drivers side blade is exactly the same as the Valeo, the passenger one is approx 1.5cm longer but they don't clash and wipe smoothly. The bonus is that if I have to replace them again, they are easier to fit with refills, takes about 3 minutes per blade and given that they are supposed to be the same as the Passat, the VW dealers may sell me them as I did with my MkII  Octavia. Genuine replacement rubbers at much cheaper prices. Winner.
