Anyone know the genuine map sensor part number? Or are all the map sensors the same on all the 1.8t engined vag cars

Are all the map sensors essentially the same? I mean would one from a 1.8t A4 or passat work fine on the VRS? I assume the intercoolers are the same

Just checked on vagcat. The intercoolers are different to the A4 and Passat. The MAP sensors are also slightly different in terms of part number. They share the same number, 038906051, but vRS has a letter B and the A4/Passat has a letter D. You could just bosh it on and try it to see what happens. Or I could flog you mine. :sun:

I can get one from an a4 off a mate of mine for a fiver. It has a different number but looks the same dimensions etc.. So should imagine it fits but it might be different inside? I damaged mine slighty removing it from the oem smic so if im going to fit my oem cooler back on, just want to put an undamaged sensor on too
