Superpro Steering Rack Bush

Hi Guys,

I am looking at ordering one of these up along with the additional caster wishbone kit, I believe these steering bushes are suitable for Fabias and not limited to the Polo.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has this fitted, or if they have experience of changing the steering rack bush on any other car.

Is this potentially another point we can upgrade to sharpen up the steering on our cars?

a quick one ain't the wishbones different on the vrs because it's a facelift model.

I have one of those as part of Superpro's 5336ADJK kit, still in its original package (as is the rest of the bushes) and was wondering which bush exactly this one was, ie installation procedure etc. but with no luck. I guess the suspension specialist that I plan to visit lately this summer must know something about it!

2010 cars on are facelift suspension set up with the single point connection of the damper up through the top mount, earlier cars can be identified by the old three point connection on the top mount.

There was a suggestion that halfway through the facelift there may be another change to the suspension but I am not aware of a change to the wishbones.

This thread has a great picture of where this bush fits on the rack.

You won't find it anywhere apparently. And yes, it is the right part number for all MKII vRS I think, at least 2011+ and some 2010 iirc. You would only realise when you would order what every shop lists in its catalogs as vRS MKII compatible (Superpro's fault) and see it doesn't fit...

I'll buy that bush if the price is right, although it is only £20 new, I love a bargain :)
