speedometer lights

Featured Replies

Hi the backlighting only seems to be working on one half of my speedomter. Does anyone know how big a job it is to gain access to the instrument cluster bulbs?

As far as I Know they are surface mount LED's. If still under warranty you should contact dealer.

Out of warranty I,m afraid.

Cant remember if it was a Yeti or was In the Superb section but I seem to remember someone having their dash lighting repaired but cannot find the post. Can only suggest that you Google and see if there is anywhere that does repairs near you, I have found these 2 places but cannot remember I any of them were the ones that repaired the one posted on here.

Thanks for that, I have imagine its a connection problem as it was an intermittent problem for a while. There's only 45000 km on th car so I,d be a bit cheesed off about having to change the cluster.

I'd be cheesed off at having to £900 for what effectively is a fused bulb albeit a LED, unless I'm reading this wrong.
