I am picking mine up this wheel or next and have taken a service contract out. Gutted I missed out.

I think it usually offers at time of ordering and not time of delivery, might be wrong, worth asking I suppose, their very polite when saying F off these sales people.

These deals are usually linked to the date that you sign the finance, not the date you order the car, so typically once the car is on uk soil and available for registration, although most dealers usually wait until they have the car on site, then give you a call to come and inspect the car, sign the finance, etc, then you return a few days later to take delivery, so you have the opportunity to switch deals or incentives until you sign.

My dealer didn't say anything when I mentioned it too him. I keep getting told that if I change anything regarding the payment amounts before I sign the finance papers I will keep getting credit checked. I obviously don't want multiple checks.

With respect Tigermad, you steeler is full of **** and feeding a steady flow of bull because he's lazy and gready, he doesn't want to do the paperwork again because he's lazy and he'd probably make less money therefore, less commission. If I was you I'd give him a verbal arse kicking reminding him the car is late of his delivery assurances not too far from being cancelled so, he might wanna do some work to keep the deal alive.

From what I hear, this ain't all the car you wanted, it ain't coming as quick as you wanted and the Salesman ain't doing as you want... Sorry remind me, why are you going through with deal ?

Just checked with my dealer, and apparently the free servicing offer is not included on the vrs model......bugger!

Doesn't mention that on the website, i would check with a different dealer, see what they say, are you buying your car on PCP?

I wasn't planning on buying it on pcp, but if I'd get the free servicing I'd buy it on pcp and then pay it off straight away.

Perhaps a bit late to worry about it, as I'm collecting my new car at 14.30 today.

Stop worrying about things that are:

A. Minor in the grand scheme

B. Too late anyway!

Focus.... Focus on enjoying the good things about your new car, I'm sure they will be many and wonderful.

Correct, 0% and free servicing only on non-vRS, vRS is 7.3% and no free servicing.

No free servicing on L&K either but PCP is 2.9%...

Ooops, corrected in my post below!

So what is the free servicing on? Was told today if you have it on an octavia elegance then pcp will be 3% or so. Can't have both deals.

Sorry, what I meant to say was L&K is 2.9% as of June but with the free servicing   (it was 0% but no servicing)

I queried this as my 2.0 Elegance ( estate 4x4) ready to be collected Friday. Was told, shown paperwork that the free servicing keeping the 0% was for the S & SE only. If I wanted to go down that route it would be 3% ....
