Hello all,

 

I am selling my Megane, and I thought I would post it here in case anyone was interested!

 

The car is a 2000 Renault Megane RXE 1.6 petrol in red.

 

The car is in a very good condition, with only some age related marks on the paintwork. The only negative of the interior is the surround to the brake light at the bottom of the window is slightly loose so un-clips itself occasionally.

 

It is a good runner and starts with no issues every time. The only slightly odd thing is that the air vents click for a few seconds after starting, but it has caused no issues.

 

Very economical on petrol, it will get mid forties to the gallon on a longer run. It doesn't use coolant or oil either.

 

All the electrics are working, including all windows and mirrors.

 

Passed the MOT in January easily, the only thing needed was 2 new tyres. One of the fog light lenses was replaced then as it was cracked.

 

The MOT runs out in January, as does the tax so that's two things you won't have to worry about for a while. Tax is £225 per year.

 

The car has two working remote keys.

 

The car has done approximately 94,500 miles as can be seen in the picture. The exact mileage may change slightly as it is used occasionally.

 

The service log book has a stamp from every 10,000 miles most of which are either a Renault garage or a specialist, so it has been well looked after.

 

The previous owners are the dealership that the car was bought from and the lady owner that owned it from new until us. The car has been used by partner as her daily driver to get to work and it has been 100% reliable.

 

HPI clear, I have the document confirming this from when we bought the car.

Is that the original reg plate? as it wont be 2001 if its a V plate, it will be 1999.

Actually, just found the V5, it was registered in Feb 2000, but thanks all the same!

BTW thats a Cracking looking Octavia you got there.

 

I think for £700 the Megane looks v.tidy, Dad had one years ago and a nice car to drive, very comfortable.

 

I think someone could do a lot worse for the money.

Thanks, I am glad someone likes the look of it! I did try it on eBay but it got no where near what I wanted.
