Hello peeps

Joined up as I am considering an Octavia VRS as my next car and am hoping for some advice on what to look for/avoid and how much to pay.

I would like a car still in warranty and which has not seen race tracks.body shops or too many garages/tuning houses.

I am also considering a Golf and a Leon. At the moment all I have is a 2005 Yamaha YZF R1 with 200bhp

The Octy makes huge sense compared to the either Golf or Leon.

I considered all of them, but the swaying factors were as follows

Octy vs Golf - Golf marginally higher quality inside, but Octy better specced, cheaper, larger, better handling, feels quicker, IMHO looks better, and less 'boy racer/ch4v'

Octy vs Leon - Leon better handling, more involving. Octy much better quality, cheaper, and better specced. Frankly the Leon's build quality is shocking in comparison. Leon also seems to attract more of 'the wrong crowd'.
