I currently have been using 3 different brands of shampoo. The first and my favourite is AG bodywork conditioner, Carlack 68 shampoo and Auto Finesse lather shampoo. The AG has nearly run out so I'm looking at something that will beat that.

Now while all of them are good the AG has what appears to my un-trained eye, more gloss and generally more pleasing. Which has led me to the understanding that I want a shampoo that is high in gloss, if anybody knows about or has used one then recommendations are welcome.

Just to add my car is sliver and I usually polish with AG super resin, although I have been thinking about trying Primo Amiga glaze. I usually top it all with Collinite 476s.

That is a shout. I hear good things about Meguiars Gold Class i knew I should of picked some up when Halfords had the 3for2 offer on, I couldn't make my mind up on the other item.

Been using Madcow's Amber nectar recently. Seems to cut through the grime very well. The jaffa wax they do is nice and easy to use too

All of the above are worth a look, the last two have very evident optical brighteners for shine.

As Sparkly says above, I'd definitely recommend Carbon Collective Lusso, I might have to buy a big bottle of this soon.

Great shout on the Obsession Wax Shampoo, I forgot this one, it produces a lovely gloss

I also been using Mucoff Car Shampoo recently, mainly because it was on cheap offer at Screwfix

A very nice slick formula, smells nice and lubricates well as it goes

Worth a shout if you can get it cheap

One of the best car shampoo's i have EVER used was Victoria Wax Super Soap;

bought it along with some of their Concours Wax...... both amazing products.

Having just spent some time in Halford's (while waiting for Citigo's service to finish at dealer), I can confirm that the "3 for 2" offer on cleaning products is currently on...but couldn't see an "end date".

Gtechniq Gwash for regular use and Gtechniq UVwash for summer use. Gwash is a great shampoo that cleans, very slick and leaves no residue behind, UVwash also cleans and is very slick but leaves an anti-static coat behind and UV protection. Very well priced also.

An excellent Shampoo

But for me not a big enough bottle.

I only use it a few times a year, when I have a Bilt Hamber Day; Auto Foam, Korrosol, Clay Bar, Cleanser Fluid and Finis Wax. You get the drift!

For my weekly wash I use AG BWC.

I'd also recommend Gyeon Bathe+ shampoo. Adds a decent gloss!
