After much debate I'm considering going back to stock. My question is will a standard 1.8t 150bhp exhaust fit the vRS 180bhp ?

Found loads of 150 but no 180, no bothered about tail pipe been different as I've got a few tail trims kicking around. Just want it to fit and arrive at the same place on the rear bumper.

If I got this right, the 150 mostly came on the 4x4 version so that exhaust won't fit due to the rear end running gear ..... Mostly 

 

The 2wd version might fit though, if it were me I would try and the RS one to be honest, try Jason(devonutopia) he may have an exhaust you could buy.

Not entirely sure tbh. If the exhaust diameter is the same i dont see why not but the backbox will be different i think as the non vrs exhausts arent visible in the bumper

Are you selling your existing exhaust? Perhaps you could find someone local to you and do a deal for their standard system?

That would be ideal but if someone's on the original then it would need cutting.

I will be looking to sell the full system and decat with O2 sensor spacer.

So standard system is defo the way I'm going if anyone wants to swap let me know. There's space at mine todo it. Got tools and s£&it also be taking most of my mods off except intercooler. So will have a few bits for sale. Think the octy will be going soon.

After much googling and searching pics on eBay I can confirm 1.8t L&K and elegance models have no visible tail pipes. Neither do golf 1.8t bora 1.8t + 2.3 Toledo 1.8t + 2.3.

So as the centre and rear boxes are the same the only difference is the tailpipes on the vRS. With this in mind I'm gonna fit a new exhaust fit a decent trim or trims and sell the exhaust and decat off.
