Why was it locked at all?

Hardly justifible for a duplicate posting surely.

There's been about 4/5 of these threads put up so the moderators have been merging them to make our lives easier at viewing it! And many thanks to them for it!

It probably wasn't a Yeti specific thread and was duplicated elsewhere on the forum.

There is are Off Topic and General Cat Chat sections for things like that.

It couldn't be moved there as there was already a thread like that running, so it would have just been a duplication.
