Hi all, just been in my local dealer to sign my finance forms and they have a monte tech black diesel in the showroom and the standard spec list states this has the tyre pressure monitor fitted. Is this an error or have they added this onto the tech???

Looking at the May 2014 brochure it states that Fabia S has Tyre Pressure Monitor is standard but no mention of it on the Monte Carlo. So it probably means all Fabias have it fitted as standard.

 

I found the following on the techeurope.co.uk website:-

 

As of 1st November 2012, all new-type vehicles will be required by EU law to have a pressure based tyre pressure monitoring system installed. This applies to the road wheels, not the spare

By November 2014, all new passenger vehicles will have to have TPMS installed by the manufacturer

No TPM in Monte Techs as standard. However you will has ESC+ and as you know, a boat load of other gadget goodies!

Yeah, didn't think so, thought is was a typo, looking forward to picking up Mon or Tues..........
