I have two of these plates that will fit the fabia drivers side vent. One is mirror finish (silver) the other is carbon effect. They can be wrapped or painted if these dont take your fancy

 

I had 3 made up by a friend of mine, by hand, they are a perfect fit for 52mm gauges and once glued in place are rock solid. I had hoped to make these more available however the work involved is too much to get the perfect fit.

 

£15 each which includes postage costs.

I currently have a pillar pod, which is easy enough to fit, are these just as straight forward?

They are made to fit, they even have a chamfered edge to match the slight curve in the vent

 

Very easy to fit.

 

Remove vent

Remove flaps

Glue in the plate

Allow to harden

Fit guage

Cool, currently have a gearbox to buy so when I have that sorted and see what funds are left I will let you know
