I have recently found when using the air-conditioning it doesn't work on fan speed 1, but does come on with 2 and above.  Opening the bonnet I have also noticed the radiator cooling fans are not running. The smaller one does seam quite stiff to turn, I don't know if they are related.

 

Anyone any ideas?

Heater resistor has gone. Loads of threads how to do this.

Thank You. I've always had the engine running and not thought about checking if the fan is running on speed 1. I've just been out and with engine off and ignition on the heater fan on speed 1 is not running so hence the problem with aircon.

 

I shall go and search how to fix it.
