Looks a great site! Am just about to take delivery of my 03 Octavia VRS estate tomorrow (hopefully!) Does any body have any info on how to make the thing go faster? Chipping etc. I am a real novice!

Unfortunately the Octavia vRS estate cannot be modified like the hatchback so you'll have to keep it standard

Welcome to Briskoda. Have a read of the Octavia Tuning Overview in the FAQ below for the sort of things you can do to improve your new car. The 1.8T engine in particular is very tuneable and there are quite a few firms now offering remaps in addition to Jabbasport who have a good reputation with members.
