OEM Xenons on preFL LE VRS

Featured Replies

What parts do I need to complete a FULL OEM install and is it possible?!

Thanks

head light clusters, electronics associated with xenon set up (they use 8awg cable to the fuse box and bigger fuses etc), head light washers coded to work every 5th time you wash the window, the kit which reads the angle of the car to do the auto adjust, bars which link to the suspension arms, coding the car to let it know its got xenons.

Im sure ive missed a lot aswell. I think its been asked and it was cheaper to pay for them as an option than do it your self

So after market kit is maybe a better and easier option then??

much easier, just plug 'n' play. How ever your headlights are not designed to take xenons so are most likely to blind other drivers.

You'd also need to remove them come mot time as you need self leveling suspension/auto leveling headlights and headlight washers.

This will also open a can of worms and may I be the first welcome the "pro aftermarket HID club"  (op, you will understand that comment in due corse lol)

The best ones to go for are LondonColour, usually around £30 on eBay. Excellant job for the money.

-or-

Sell up and find a car with OEM HIDs ;) ;)

As Ryan says, unless there is a miracle, the subject of aftermarket HIDs is a can of worms that gets opened from time to time.

I'll go and put the popcorn on ;) ;) ;)
