I got a new phone yesterday :D

Be aware if they haven't been folded in years they may snap off. Did exactly that to the Polo when we had it, they we corroded solid.

My Polo was the same. I just left them out, see if anything big enough would loosen them off for me lol

Been taking some Brave Pills have we?  :D    :x  might be the safer option mate.

Mine also fold 180deg the other way too as I found out one morning going to my car. A bit peeved that someone had driven too close (on a wide road) and knocked them, I was downright p***ed when I found the glass missing. Quick look on the ground showed no sign of broken glass. Closer look at the mirror revealed someone had half-inched it! If that wasn't enough, they'd broken the fitting and it cost me £76 for the new glass and holder from local VW parts shop (I can see why they bothered to nick it).
