Whenever you get it guys, I'm looking forward to swapping thoughts on the new driving experience

GO AND HAVE A RUB

Mines late cos the dealer staff cant get their act together. :orb_sad:

The skoda garage in Liverpool is called Alex Lawrie. I went to them to start with but was put off by the fact they wanted me to buy a green car from them with the sports suspension when I wanted graphite grey with ESP. They told me that the sports suspension did the same job as the ESP. Have ended up going to Woodheads Skoda in Blackpool, not far from Shifty's chippy. So after I pick my car up tomorrow I'll be heading there for some luch.

You're having a laugh!! They cannot do this to you. Whats their explanation?

sports suspension does same job as ESP?! kick em in the head! ;)

enojoy the fish and chips :)

I think they tried to get me to buy the green car I mentioned because it was in the showroom at the time, maybe they had targets to meet. At the end of the day it was their bad customer relations that cost them a cash sale. Woodheads have been excellent, no complaints about them. Can't wait for the fish and chips, I've heard on the grapevine (or the Briskodavine) that they are excellent. :)

you will love the car, I've had mine bout five months now, and it still brings a big smile to my face every time I drive it :)

:)

13 hours, 45 Mins to go !

Dealership called me tonight, said she was sexy, polished and waiting for me!

He joked that I wouldn't sleep tonight, I replied I didn't last night (NRT now finished - true withdrawl).

Tommorrow...

11 hours to go now.

Picking it up from West End Garage in Broxburn, near Edinburgh.

Anyone else in Scotland getting a new one?

Saw a 55 reg Toyota Landcruiser in the office carpark at 7.45 this morning. Either someone stayed up late, or got up very early.

I specified mudflaps all round but they only put some on the front. They said that they do not exist for the vRS and knocked off

After my dealer telling me my Vrs was going to be late last week, was suposed to be here ready for me to be picked up saturday. I asked for a lend of a car because I am giving mine back tomorrow and the car wouldn't be here until middle of the month  they found me another vrs in the country still new, with my spec except the side airbags so I took that one.

Then they phoned me up earlier in the week to say it still wouldn't be here in time so they would be lending me a car :( . Not all bad news though got a call today to say it has arrived and they will push in through to get it ready for me for saturday :)

Vrs Black magic 6 Cd and cruise control picking up saturday after a bit of a palarvour

Giving mine the Swissol and Scotch Gard treatment tomorrow.

9am on the first, I was to be seen hopping about on the Skoda dealers forecourt.....

I had finished a night shift at 6am, but the excitement kept me awake. Having finshed the handover demo from the saleperson, I clunked the door shut and sat there for a few moments soaking up the new car smell. Adjusted the seat and mirrors, started up and gingerley left the forcourt in my nice shiny new silver Fabia VRS.

I drove the long windey road route home. I love the torque. The drive out of bends, even on light throttle is truly exceptional. The steering was quick and precise the grip brilliant. The brakes felt a bit wooly, but I expected that with only a few miles under the wheels.

I had a day playing about with the gadgets today, and put some rubber mats in. Had to stay in as a new kitchen was being fitted :-(

Of to Newbury tommorrow doing a bit of motorway and country lane stuff. The car will be loaded up well, so look forward to using the torque to lug us along.

I know it's early days yet, but I have never yet been so impressed with a new car. Here's looking forward to happy fun times in this little stealth pocket rocket.

well going to st ives now and when i get back i get my new 55 plate vrs in black with all extra you can name except sat nav :)
