Cheers lads spot on, splitter is defo getting bought then, cheers Lloyd55vrs defo made my mind up. Wanted to see if where the bumper comes down, lines up with the splitter like it does on the Cupra r bumper. Cheers robclubley what exactly do they do ? Just help with cooling ?

Are you asking about the black bumper extension thingies or the vents? :)
Neither do much, just for looks :D

I know what the splitter does mate, if it's installed correctly, it actually helps with downforce on the front end, I meant the vents rob, does it just help get rid of air quicker out of the engine bay as it's entering from the front and vents out the side

Yep but in reality they're all mostly cosmetic :D

I don't know mate, I had a diesel leon fr (different front bumper to the Cupra), and I put one on there after it fell off (car was waaaaay to low), I could feel the difference on the front end, it didn't seem as planted as it was when I had the splitter on

On an Octavia VRS bumper, I never noticed the splitter making any difference in aero dynamics - ground clearance - that's another thread

Did find a little surprising tbh, but it really wasn't noticeable whether on or not

- apart from the scrapping sounds that is

Im thinking twice about putting one on my car now...then again, my car isnt lowered.

Mine has taken a few scrapes, and still comes bouncing back :D
