What a bunch of useless to$$ers!!!! Two months i've been without broadband now. I put a simple house move request I even kept my original phone number but could they sort it NO!!!! So I am having a giggle now trying to cancel my contract and move to a competent ISP. Anyone else had a similar problem with America Offline???

You and everyone else I think.

If you cancel you're contract ensure you let them know you are cancelling the direct debit and actually do it. Ensure they get no more money from you.

They are cunning little bar stewards. They do not set up a direct debit, they set up a debit card payment!! So you have to cancel your card like I have just done, so they will not have the new card number hahaha!!

You can just call you're card issuer and request a block on money going to them. But ensure you have put it in writing to them first. I wouldnt suggest email as this proves you do have interweb access.

Oh and good luck uninstalling their software.

I'm with Wanadoo and have had no problems for 13 months but the last week its been a nightmare with dropped connections.

Oh I have sent a very very "nice" letter to customer services telling them where to stick their service. Their customer support blows so much!! I mean how the hell can someone from Bangalore understand my northern twang?? Also how am I meant to understand them?? It's all fun and games, I guess it will be a while until I get the MAC key!! :(

We had a nightmare with them so switched to tiscali.

I know some have had problems with tiscali but personally not had any issues myself.
