Hey every 1, iv just signed up n i think the forum is great.

i drive a fabia sports 1.4 16v. think its kinda rare as most of u drive the VRS version but hopfully you guys can help me out!

i want 2 put a K&N air filter in but the standard air filter box is hidden under the engine casing, and i dnt no how 2 take it off???

Are you sure ?

They are usually between the battery and the bulk head,to the right of the BIG plastic engine cover. and the top is screwed on with 4 PHILLIPS screws.

However if it is under that, then it just lifts off, grab the front of the cover and firmly lift, the clips will relase with a bit of pressure, the back should then also lift off as the cover tilts back ( HOWEVER - mine has a bolt @ the back( closest 2 windscreen) approx in the centre that a spanner / socket will undo ) .
