Bluetooth keeps disconnecting and re-connecting

Featured Replies

I've got a 2009 LE VRS WITH maxidot, Bolero headunit coded to a 3C8 035 730 BT module.

I've managed to pair my Samsung Galaxy S3 with it today and it all connects, however it then disconnects itself and re-connects and continues to do so.  Any ideas??

Thanks

Matt

is that in premium or hfp?

Try the bluetooth phonebook app on Google Play. There is a trial version. This should stop it happening

Mine also does this every now and again just drops signal and reconnects straight away

Assuming there was no letter suffix to the part number you quoted above then you have an older unit which only connects in RSap or 'Premium' mode where the car takes over the sim. It works fine with an S3 but does occasionally drops out and reconnects.

HFP is an alternative means of connection used by all phones where the phone retains control of the sim but gives less functionality. However your unit doesnt do that, so to answer Ed's question, its premium.

I had to root my phone to get mine to work as it didn't support it "out of the box".

It's an Xperia Z and the connection is rock solid.

I have also installed an app that puts a copy of the texts in the phone as well as in the car which is handy.

Also running a Galaxy S3, on my 5NO unit, rsap only, and the connection is rock solid here too.

Which too all intent and purpose is identical to the OPs unit....
