9in et52, will they fit?

Featured Replies

Hi, picking my car up tomorrow and already looking at some wheel to replace 17's.

Local guy has some 9x18in Et52 wheels and I was wondering if this width and offset are okay to fit on a standard preFL Mk2 VRS?

I dont think they will as its effectively 20mm less clearance both inner and outer on the wheel.

It'll be the insides that catch, try

I did, thats where I got the 18mm from.  Was just wondering if anyone has tried before.

The only that's give you room to play would be Coilovers if not already fitted.

I can't remember the 18" zenith width either 7.5 or 8j with et51 so you won't be far off

What about running a 5-10mm spacer?

Would the outer edge stick out? Dont really like 5mm on front as that doesnt tend to leave enough hub exposed for the wheel to locate.

I suppose main part of my question is what offset is okay with that width.
