Thanks Smudger, however I have the files with embedded artwork but doesn't display on Columbus.

Ah, sorry misunderstood query - do you know if art work can be displayed on Columbus, I think that the Octavia ICE system differs from the Superb.

I agree it would be nice and you can get pictures on the screen from the DAB radio broadcast if they station is broadcasting them - I think its called a Slide show and where I am none of the BBC channel broadcast them only Heart and Capital.

Lets see what other know,

I contacted my dealer and asked how do I display the mp3 artwork on my 2014 Superb Elegance Columbus system.

Well the answer I got from Skoda dealer, is the Superb does not have the latest Columbus model, as does the Octavia.

Where is the logic in selling a brand new car but with an out of date Columbus.I can only guess that as the Superb Elegance has the Columbus as standard, they are using up all the old stock, and only if you purchase a Columbus upgrade will you possibly get the latest model. This is tantamount to robbery, needless to say I have sent a letter to Skoda Uk, expressing by dissatisfaction, and await there response.

It's not a matter of using up old stock, they are completely different units in the new octavia. They just happen to have kept the same name, Columbus.

I wonder why the Octavia model not suitable for the Superb as obviously it has more features?

It's because the current Superb is just a Superb 2 with a face lift.

The Octavia is a completely new model and platform.

I imagine the Superb MK3 will have the newer systems in.
