Heated Wing Mirrors?

Featured Replies

Just looking at the Skoda configurator thinking about upgrading from the trusty Fabia - Does the standard car come with heated wing mirrors (like my 10 year old Fabia has) or do I really have to spend an extra £800, including an electrically adjustable seat, just so I can clear ice from the mirror without standing in the snow?

Can't speak for S or SE, but my Elegance has heated mirrors and I don't have electrically adjustable or heated seats. I didn't buy it new, so I can't be 100% sure what's standard, but given the way these things are put in 'packs' I guess it probably is standard.

The brochure shows that the Octy S and all models above have electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors.

I think the £800 is if you want them to be auto dimming and have electric memory which ties in with the electric memory seats (i.e. both come together for the £800).

The vRS does and seeing as it's based on the SE i'd say the SE has them too.

Phew, thanks guys!

I liked the idea of electric folding mirrors and the little lights look fancy - but I have no real need for £700 worth of adjustable seat. All I really need is adjustable heated mirrors. So if that's normal then I'm all good.

The electric seat and mirror memory is fantastic if you have a partner who also drives your car, makes life so much easier as you can just jump in and the only thing you need to adjust is the rear view mirror and you're off.

Get a partner of a similar height and get 'em told: "Don't adjust MY seat!". Sorted, and £800 richer.
