Octavia 2002 model

My problem is I didn't take a photo of the original after I'd taken it out of the car. Its all working, Only goes up the screen a third fo the way and tries to go through the skuttle cover.
I know its a matter of adjusting it till its right, but does anyone have a photo of the the motor and linkage in the oroginal postion.

iirc, at "rest" the linkage should be fully extended.  Sure that is how mine is.

Take the wipers and arms off, use the wiper stalk until the spindles stop turning, it is now in the rest position, and fit wipers near to the bottem of the screen....

All sorted now. For my Octavia... the correct position is 3 o'clock when fitted. I bolted a snall spanner onto the wiper mount to gage the movement. Once it only moved the wiper up, I had the correct position.
