hello all my octavia is poorly was making a knocking noise so i thought id take it to a mate of mine who has a ramp up the car goes and to my horror what do i find bolts missing from drive shaft and a bent bolt hitting my new gearbox so now i need new casings for gearbox i love my car but its costing me too much money i may split it and get wat i can for it i just dunno 

Has the bolt punched a hole through the box and dumped oil everywhere?

More to the point who fit your new gearbox and left the driveshaft bolts loose

im not blaming no one one bolt bent and has been hitting the casing ive chemical metal it and its good at mo new drive shaft ordered and got new casings once its fixed and my new plans happen ill sell it 

It could be the last problem your sorting. Think about it. I know what you mean though, all repairs come at once.
