I took my Citigo up Wrynose and down Hardknott pass in the Lake District last weekend .what fun that was lol ,ok I had to use first gear but we got there in the end . Now for the downside Castro was scratched on the back bumper by a nasty 4x4 in Keswick car park on Saturday afternoon and if we ever meet again I will show them the error of their ways.a3eve3e4.jpg

Nice road by the looks of things and that's a real shame! But welcome to my world I guess :( I reckon a touch up spray can from your dealer should perhaps fix that :) cost's somewhere around £20

a beautiful pic :) shame about the damage :(

I drove up and down those passes last year in my Octavia II 1.8TSI 4X4. Exciting!

I've been up there in my octavia tdi which was easier but this was more fun and the fear of will it make it or not.there was a group of cyclists who said they could carry it the rest of the way lol.

Most of the damage has cleaned up but I'm just going to use touch up paint on the the rest. I guess I'm lucky it didn't move any thing or crack the bumper.

IMO touch up is not the solution

Either take it to a bodyshop

OR

Chipsaway

Speaking personally I can't think why you would pay ten grand for something and then touch it up with a tin of paint worth £2.50 and we all know it will look just like a £2.50 repair when it's done. Maybe if you can't afford to repair the thing when it gets damaged a cheaper car would be a better option?  And if you can afford to repair it properly....then, why not?

Took little "Buck" to the Cotswold at the weekend with luggage for two. Very steep hills but the little thing kept on going.

The plus side is how much speed it can carry into the bends to help you up the hilling bits.

Nice pictures and shame about the damage :(

Old Stan Thanks for your input . I may consider a cheaper car and leave Castro in the garage and only fetch the car out to clean it.lol
