I'm sure this has been asked before. But looking in to getting the 130bhp VRS diesel remapped to 156 or 184 by Celtic Tuning.

 

Would 156 be the better option in terms of looking after the original parts? (Clutch e.t.c)

It's all about torque regarding clutch life not BHP. So for instance 2 remaps could make 170bhp but one could have 270lbsft the other 300lbsft.

I offer dual remap option so you could have both. So if you decide to replace the clutch you can switch over to the higher torque map.

Ah ok, the 184bhp one bumps it up to 286lb torque. Can't really afford a new or upgraded clutch at the moment so guessing it's a better bet to go for the 156bhp one!
