Thinking of getting either a custom made or off the peg job for my fabia VRS diesel.

 

I'm a little bit confused about what the best options are for a reasonable sound level and a good sound at that.

 

At the moment I'm swaying towards a cat back, but have noticed there's the option on the Piper exhaust to have the silencer removed. Would this make it ridiculously loud, and if it's kept in would it not make enough difference? Also is it legal to have the silencer removed?

For mine it cost 300 for full system from powerflow.

stainless 2.5" no cat just a sports backbox amd tip of your choice. Best value and unique to your taste IMO

with my back box it does a little growl on start up. Quiet for normal driving but when you boot it. Gives a noce deep rawr but not too loud.

I've got the Piper 0 silencer catback system, sounds very good on boost. Not loud for everyday driving though.

Sorry just cannot understand the wanting of exhaust noise on a diesel,now say on cars like the Lambo or Ferrari now they do have a exhaust power noise.

Piper 0 silencer car back

Just cut the back box off and get a piece of pipe welded in place with your choice of tip. Much cheaper than a full system and does the job from what I've read and seen on here.
