the brown bits are off the trees as the wind was blowing. Apologies for picies 1st but its how my tablet does things.....

So, having been to see Chris last Monday I had a brief burst of enthusiasm to do something with SWMBO Seat, partly so I could practice without risk of damaging tne vRS!

The plan was to do a half decent job, but the rain intervened and caused me to postpone a couple of stages (using farecela paont restorer with my DA and the application of some black hole) as I had to be done by 6pm.

so initially I got the snowfoam out, using less than usual after seeing how much Chris used. Using my ebay snowfoam lance the SF was rather thin, so I transferred the SF to my recently bought autobrite lance. The difference in thickness was staggering. I've since taken the ebay one apart and given tbe gauze filter a clean with cilletbang so will do a direct comparison when I get the chance and post it up.

next up was some farecela detox shampoo and a squirt of fairy. This got the paint squeeky clean and was followed by a rinse then ironx and a wipe over with a mf cloth. Another rinse followed by the 1st dry next came the tardis and another wipe with a mf cloth. Rinse again and it was now time to trymy farecela clay mit. After using 1 at Chris's I was still amazed how quickly it removed the contaminates on the paint.

Another rinse and a final dry followed. Next up I wanted to try the farecela scratch remover as it has quite a few after 7 years of being SWMBO daily driver. I used their white waffle pad and did these by hand. It was amazing how easy the light ones that passed the finger nail test dissappeared and I intend to try it with my DA and a yellow megs pad at some stage to seehow much of the deeper ones I can get out/reduce. Time was now tight so I applied some megs tecwax 2.0. I will do a better job later in the year, but as an interim and a good practice its served its purpose

Very nice job there mate - great results :)

Thanks chaps. I don't use tapatalk toxic as I like the 'view new content' page which I couldn't see on TAT.... Unless you know different LOL.

Not used BSD on it yet Chris, thought I'd see how the megs beaded 1st, but it'll get a light dusting next time if she plays her cards right as per your instructions. Had a couple of people remark how sparkly the vRS looked over the weekend. That's after the trip back home and being out in the rain a couple of times! I told them it was dirty. Puzzled looks followed..... LOL. Trouble is the brazilian job has spoilt me now I want sparkle sparkle sparkle....
