please help with my new car choice

Featured Replies

Probably could be specc'd if an official Fiat part...

Many 500s can look girly, I agree, but Abarths in most colours far less so, IMO. I like compact, quick, good-handling cars that are all about fun, and every Abarth variant ticks those boxes.

They defo are less femanine than the non abarth, i agree.

But its defo not manly. Imo.

Hmm. Abit of a girls car though. Im sure they perform very well, but IMO, it makes men look slightly puffy. Didnt realise theyre £32k though. Thought they were about half that.

  • Golf R is a lovely car and a bargain on some of the cheap lease deals that have been around if you can still get one. I'd go M135i tho all day long. With current deals £25k will see you into new a ba

Well yeah. Girls seem to take a shine to gay blokes dont they.

I think its cos they reckon they can trust em or something..

Hsha im only jokin :).

Haha, yeah lure them in with a false sense of security...

Now if you went so far as to fit the eyelashes to an Abarth.... Well every time you even popped out for a loaf of bread would turn into a scene from the lynx beach advert I assure you.....

M235i?

M235i, Would get my money all day long, if only I had a spare £30k.

M235i is nice but I think the OP would struggle to get an auto one for his £30k budget. With it being so new discounts aren't nearly as strong as those currently available on the M135i.

To be honest Furbytom, either of them would do and your right, the 2 series is still too new to barter on but I doubt I would be in a position any time soon to be able to spend that kinda money on a car.

Having said that, I would still rather have a Beemer over a Skoda any day. A mate of mine has a 320d coupe M Sport which he paid not much more than I did for my Monte, it's an 09 plate and another has just bought a 2012 116d 5 door from a BMW main dealer for just over £12k, both cars are mint and has me thinking for my next car.

I still love my Monte but it's possible, if you're prepare to wait a bit to get a good car whatever your budget.

I thought I'd suggest a 235i as the op was considering a new Mustang which I would expect to cost similar money with the ecoboost engine or lot more with a V8!

I'm sure DCT equipped V8 M3 with extended warranty can be had much cheaper than the new Mustang will be and I would be surprised if it wasn't a much better car in all aspects!

I know you can't compare new to used and it's all horses for courses etc etc!

Hi all after doing 0-60 stopwatch test and getting between 6.1 seconds and 6.5 seconds on 6 runs I might even keep the vrs for me and when extended warranty has run out get a tuning box for sub 6 seconds burn ups against these young boy racers thanks.
