So ive been looking at radios for me 2007 vrs and found this

the question i have is it says 2012 octavia, but will it fit into a 2007 or did skoda make a cheeky little change to the radio when doing the facelift.

also does anyone have any experiance with this head unit

this does look cheap but it has all the stuff ive been looking for

cheers for the response, i kinda needed someone to say no because i have the habit of buying crap as it is shiney then get all the problems later ( i should know better by now).

Front Windscreen wiper has an annoying issue

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever

My air conditioner isn't performing well and is showing these errors on the display. The windshield was replaced a few weeks ago; could the sensor be the cause? When I checked the sensor, it looked like this.

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

2020 Kamiq with ACC - opinions?

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it.
