VAGCOM errors

Featured Replies

Hello all,

The last few weeks I've had the fan kick in for no reason, normally of shorter journeys so I'd thought I'd give it a quick scan with VCDS. It came up with the two following errors on the engine.

Car is a Octavia vRS 2.0CR 2009 DSG

From searching the first code is relating to the water pump which could mean it needs replacing, the other from google search comes back with DPF related, most common is related to cars that have be de-DPF'd.

Any ideas.........and is it going to hurt my wallet?

Thanks

Mike

I had the same error code, rechecked it a week later and the error hadn't re-occured. Might be worth clearing the errors and re-scanning just to make sure.

Those are very low battery readings, ie 11.93V and 11.70V.

Cheers Chris, I will have a look at the suggestions on the link.

Structures, I've cleared them down and will re-scan later in the week and see if they have disappeared.

Dennis, maybe its time for a new battery, it's the original battery so over 4 years old and sits most of the week on the drive.
