Has anyone been advised to fit a performance panel air filter while at or before visting Jabba ?

it's probably better to have a high flow filter fitted before a remap however, I can't remember anyone who has fitted a panel filter. Most who have changed have fitted CAI (cold air induction) kits and will need removal of standard airbox.

If you decide to fit an panel filter avoid a K&N as these have been know to contribute to MAF (mass air flow sensor) failures due to gunking up with oil. Expensive to fix.

According to Mike & Elton @ Jabba -- the standard set-up is fine -- only real improvement via Cai - as Adrian said.

If you decide to fit a panel filter add to the airbox a decent sized and located cold air feed pipe.
