ABS Control Module Part Number

Featured Replies

Hi

May I know how important is it to have the exact part number when performing a change of the ABS Control module?

Based on my chassis, I'm supposed to change to 1K0614517 BKBEF. However, I can get 1K0614517 ATBEF at a lower price, and I read that it comes with a newer electrical module, which will allow PLA 2.0.

Now, obviously my main aim is to resolve my fault codes. But will I be able to fit the AT one, over the BK one? And simply get it re-coded?

Thanks!

You need to go by the electronic part number and not the 517

1K0 907 379 BJ

1K0 907 379 BE

1K0 907 379 AT

1K0 907 379 BL

all good for Park Assist

You will need other parts if you want fit PLA or PLA2

So it doesn't really matter which ABS module I go with? Or I could simply replace the new electronic module with my old ABS pump?
