Doing a FL issues with xenons

Featured Replies

Hi guys , and greetings from Slovakia ,

im newbie here , im working on my introducing also :) First , sorry for my english , if its not superb...

I dont want to make new thread i try to ask here...

I own few days a Octavia II FL elegance , year 2010. The Octavia is very well equipped with options , and also with OEM Xenon headlights. Im not an amateur in cars , im an ex VAG car seller , also with VCDS equipped ,  but im not sure about options yet and i need some help.

My question are about headlights and cornering options (Frontlights + Foglights) and coding help.

1.The first question is , if its this model equipped normally from factory with Bi-Xenon , or Xenon headlights ? I know 10000percently the difference (and i also had cars with both of options) , but if i know , the pre-FL oct had also Bi-Xenons , and i am wondering , that i doesnt really see on my FL that the shutter goes up and down. Im not sure if is this OK , because the headlights in this model are only xenon , or its problem with my headlights / coding ? By starting the lights moves up/down/left/right. I also doesnt see , that the lights turns left/right.

2.The second question is about corner light function via Foglights. I had today coded all comfort functions in my car but i wish a next ,,option,,. The cornering via Foglights works without problems from factory , but one thing bored me. If the car doesnt move and the steering wheel is bit on the left/right , the corner light is on. Its a bit boring if i stop for some reason , get out from car and let the engine on (heating , AC , or something) and i doesnt let the steering wheel in centre position. So , i like the cornering , i let them on , but i want to configure this option only if the car is moving. Or maybe if you put the handbrake on (i doesnt try it , my car has DSG , i used ,,P,, position)... Its something like this possible ?

3.And the last question is about coding login/security options. Someboy know codes for 09-CENTRAL ELECTRIC and 01-ENGINE (2.0TDi PD 8V) ?

Thank you very much guys

Hi nickolaidis sorry got that module but won't fit. Just looked on that site link you put up and it shows a wiring harness. Is that the one you purchased or did you modify your plug. Also if you bought that harness it shows some lose wirers as well as multi plugs. Where do yhese go? Thanks

don't forget the leveling sensors located on the front & rear suspension.

these feed data to the afs module behind the climatronic, which in turn controls the motors in the xenon headlight unit.

The car already has them as it came with xenons from factory. This module and levelling wiring on the light unit is all that is left to do. Apart from that I've got basic lights working and car fully face lifted. Will put a thread together once wiring is all done.
