Clutch issues?

Don't know how best to describe it but when setting off in first gear the car starts to accelerate at biting point but when fully releasing the clutch there is a momentary Loss of power before car picks up again. Noticed this quite recently specially when accelerating hard from standstill. Car is a tsi vrs with 33k mile

Any idea what it could be?
