Featured Replies

Picked up the new L&K combi yesterday. about 200kms on the clock so far.

I ordered the midi as an optional extra: but it came with no interface cable.... should it have come with interface cables? Where can I get one? (to mini usb and iphone 4 and 5)

also: trying to connect mobile phone: when I press the phone button I get the following screen: ... No idea how to proceed: Nothing I do allows me to either setup a user or connect a phone: looks like Bluetooth not functioning???

on the phone pairing part... I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GOj55UxZsk

(phone is now paired :) )

(the car manual is not great :( )

still have a problem with "I ordered the midi as an optional extra: but it came with no interface cable.... should it have come with interface cables? Where can I get one? (to mini usb and iphone 4 and 5)"

Also i think you have to try pairing the phone within a couple of minutes of turning the car on???

When i was looking at my car before buying it i couldn't get the phone to pair with the car. I mentioned i thought the BT was faulty to the sales guy and he came out to the car turned on the ignition and it paired straight away. I'd had the ignition on maybe five minutes or more when i'd tried pairing it without success.

Dave.

I also ordered the MDI, they do not come with cables, you purchase these depending on the type of device you are connecting, I purchased the standard USB lead which allows me to charge my phone, and the IPOD lead.

I got my cable on for free from my dealer, (Capitol Skoda, Newport, South Wales) while not expensive it was still a nice thing to do which made the buying experience that bit smoother. It is those little touches that stick in your mind and count at the end of the day.

what phone do you have dave i have a samsung galaxy ace and it will not connect at all

iPhone 5 and the mrs' iPhone 5s both connect fine to the car. Mine's a MY11 spec though as if it had been a MY10 i'd have had to buy a newer BT unit for under the drivers seat.

stuarttunstall - Where did you get the cable? - Is there a part number ?

Danny 57 - Both Danny 57 and stuarttunstall seem to have attentive dealers :)

Hi

I ordered mine when I ordered the car, these are the numbers on the leaflet that came with the leads

USB SOCKET - AZQ800002 ( This is the one I purchased, allows me to connect my Galaxy S3 to charge the phone,I also purchased this so if I change my phone I can still use it with any "USB chargeable handset :) I also purchased this adaptor which is only about 1" long rather than a long lead.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/StarTech-com-USB-A-to-Micro-USB-B-Cable-Adapter-Male-to-Male-/360983521794?pt=UK_Computing_USB_Cables&hash=item540c4b6a02 )

3.5mm Jack - AZD800004

Mini USB - AZ0800003

Micro USB - 000051446N

IPOD - AZ0800001

That looks like the one i have looking at the picture
