The removable part of the ash tray, is that the same across the range?

I'd like to make a nice pannel so my volt meter and button are mounted nice and flush in the ash tray but dont want to use my original lol

Yes they are same...I have modified mine tray with taking movable part out (for cigaretes, I donnt smoke so not needed) and make the rest more usable (get more free space) with putting that fine black cloth on the bottom part (you can cut it to the needed size from that one like in glove box, I had three glove boxes as spare so use one of them for that)...
