Saw this on hotukdeals, £5 for a set of standard wipers.

 

Their website says they will fit the fabia, so we shall see (the AS at the end worries me slightly)

AS means one is curved so it essentially catches water as it sweeps

Yeh, I was told that by guy at halfords he said they are only for specific cars and don't work properly if used on cars they are not meant for, said something along the lines of meant for those with wrap around- esque windscreens giving the TT as an example.

The N/S original blade fitted to the Fabia mk1 was curved, so they will be correct OE spec
