Citigo real world MPG

We have a 2007 Ka Zetec Climate in Apple Green that my lad is currently using it when he is home from Uni. They handle brilliantly, even more so with Eibach springs and the 20mm rear axle spacers! And stop a whole lot better with Sport Ka front brakes!

You might remember I said I had to get this job for the car. I've just been invited for an interview.

Mine's a Zetec Climate in Ocean Blue. Never considered a Ka, but I fell in love when I test drove it, great to drive and surprisingly spacious.
Obviously, I don't have heated seats, but I do still have an aux slot, working A/C and a bloody fun car so I can't complain.

I got 61mpg tonight on the PID (going more gently than usual, a lot around the 50mph mark -- and it's very flat out here).

I do wonder about its accuracy, though. Presumably it gets its consumption figures from the fuel injection system. 80mpg on a flat at 45mph in 5th? 140mpg at 27mph in 4th? Nothing short of miraculous!

The PID is a guide; take the figures it shows with a large pinch of salt.

Hi,had my 67 Monte Carlo 12 months now just had a service. Filled her brimming from empty 35.08 litres costing 45 quid. Just drove to Cornwall from Manchester and on the way back I managed to hit the magic 500 MILE tank barrier WOO!!!!!!!  40 psi in the tires and I kept the speedo at an indicated 65 which is 60 mph accurate and the car returned animpressive average of 66 mpg. Been aftertrying this for a while.
