The engine management warning light is staying on, on my son's Fabia. Any help appreciated.

I have Vag-Com. Based in Liverpool. Not far from the M62/M57.

only got the free version of Vagcom......

In central manchester every weekday. Might be able to work out a date/time

Thanks for the replies guys. Been on hol for a few days, so sorry for the delayed reply. Soon after I made the original post, I ordered a vag-com laptop lead on ebay. If it dosn't arrive (or dosn't work) I will be in touch. We do come over to Liverpool from time to time and central Manchester is also possible.

Changed the plugs - I think they were the originals which had been in 53,000 - you could drive a coach & horses through the gap! Running improved but light still on.

VAG-COM cable turned uo today - only a week from China - not bad. Diagnosed intermittent mis-fire, so I assume this was due to the old plugs. Have cleared the fault code and will monitor.
