SUK seem to get a lot of blame, but how much of it is imposed by VAG UK, to keep the differential between the different marques?

Shouldn't they apply the same logic to Europe too then if they are being consistant ?

 

A good idea to respond to customer demand rather than what you think they might like if this forum is

anything to go by. Even our Dealer would prefer to offer the L&K without the 'Brown'

I think Graham's rely is probably correct so I doubt that SUK have the option of responding to customers comments. They would have replaced the stupid heated mirror switch years ago if they could!

That I did and that I am. It is still obviously brown and this won't be to everyone's taste but, in my opinion, when seen in the flesh the contrast/clash of colour is a lot less evident than I've seen in any picture or video (and believe me I looked at a lot)

 

As you said, it's all personal, I was worried about the brown leather, saw it and liked it. I also want an engine that give abit more punch so wouldnt have gone for anything lower than the 170. I'm also not fussed about the KESSY systemso th nly options I will likely add are the steel pedals, mud flaps and maybe metallic paint. Now my mind is made up I can't wait to get my order in!

Yes, I've gone for the L&K too. Great discount; great colour; great spec.. 170 again: but DSG this time. Hope I don't have to wait as long as last time... 9 months with £300 compo.

And the L&K spec is in my humble opinion excellent 'value' for money as it includes the options I would want (and have had on my previous TIBETs).

But why do you think that the 'slating' is only coming from those who haven't seen a FL L&K for themselves? That's not really doing justice to those who have taken the trouble to find out at first hand and then concluded that the brown seats absolutely don't work for them. (Actually there's nothing wrong with brown seats per se, if that's your preference, what I and I think some others can't look past is the clash between the generally black dash etc and the brown seats - that's the combination that jars so obviously. Brown seats in a lighter (certainly non-black) environment might work perfectly OK.)
