This is why cyclists are starting to wear camera's, which is the same reason motorists are using camera's, to proove who was responsible for the accident.

I don't understand how cyclists having a helmet camera is a way of them looking for confrontation, alot of the time being vocal and hand gestures are the only way we can get noticed.

 

As part of my learning to ride a motorcycle I've had to complete a CBT course, IMO every motorist should have to complete this (regardless of if you intend to get a motorcycle or not) as it show's road use from a very different angle and might help more people understand why people on 2 wheels ride in the position they do, it might also curb some of the aggression over 'this is my space' 'there is more than enough space there for you' confrontations.

I considered getting a camera after a driver in a polo drove head on into whilst I was sat in the right filter lane, she was turning right going in the opposite direction and drove straight though my right turn box to get to hers, guess what, she drove off and left me laying in the middle of a 40mph road after I went up over the bonnet and into her windscreen.

 

I never did get around to buying a camera but it is on my shopping list as I still cycle 3000-4000miles per year and now also commute on a motorcycle.
