Replacements for Falken F452s

Featured Replies

Just checked my tyres and it looks like I need to replace the fronts ASAP (wearing badly on the inside edge).  I have previously been happy with Falken F452s in terms of grip, mpg, and tyre life, adn would happily buy them again if available.  However, as I understand it the F452 is no longer available, so what is everyone now using instead?

Thanks.

Matt

Michelin PS3. That is all.

I should say in a similar price bracket too....  For info my car is an ageing 110TDI with 232,000 miles on the clock, so more of mile muncher than a speedy vehicle....

Got some vredestein sportrac 5 on our Leon and handling and noise wise are very good. SWMBO has been doing many miles recently so can't comment on wear.

453's

I've run them on the octy, I'd have said slightly better than the 452's !!!

Yup you like the 452 so get the new 453's

Thanks, I'll check out the F453s and see if I can find a good price up in Lytham.

EDIT: Looks like BlackCircles and CamSkill don't carry them in 205/55R16 flavour :-(

Swapped my 452's for 453's, personally I don't find them an improvement, noisier and don't seem to be wearing as well.

Due to the reviews of the 453's I'm gonna try Goodyear efficient grip performance but on a 16" rim due to costs and the state of the roads round here
