I have shudder on both acceleration and braking through the steering wheel and brake pedal.

Is this likely to be driveshaft?

Shudder when braking hard will be from abs, not sure about accelerating, how hard are you putting your foot down? Have u a diesel or petrol?

Or warped brake discs. Just replaced mine - cured the judder.

 

As Alastairh said though, not sure about the accelerating bit.

Does it stop juddering when you reach speed and cruise, or is it constant?

If its constant, id be checking to see if youve thrown a couple of wheel weights? might need balancing?
