nightmare dealer.......

Recommended Posts

HI guys just wondering if anyone has heard of recording a rattle on a car, then sending this recording to a "specialist" skoda garage in Milton Keynes for them to diagnose then if this is unsuccessful, sending it to Czechoslovakia for them to diagnose,, they've had my car a week, I've had numerous problems (car booked in for a job they didn't do..saying they'll phone me and they never do.unable to diagnose in a full day that the Metal retaining clip on the calliper was missing and causing the rattle,a problem which was spotted in 2 minutes by my local mechanic,, so now I'm in a courtesy car for a week and counting waiting for this sound recording to be assessed by god knows who, oooh and I phoned earlier and was told,,, we'll email the sound to you so you can hear it,, guess what, it didn't arrive,,, pi ##ed isn't the word, I'm raging

Was the Specialist in Milton Keynes to be their Skoda Specialist Technical Team at the HQ, the main man seems to be Derran Brown.

or was it the CZ Factory where Uri Geller must now be on the Payroll.?

No idea why they record it, they should just use their powers to pick up what the noise is.

You are a unreal,

it was a clip on the brakes he said.

Or to be  more accurate,  'not on the car', missing, not there, goneoffski.

Thats like on the Brakes as fitted to all cars, regardless of the engines,  apparently i think someone once told me.

Neil, don't blame you mate. Just ask for a refund as theu sold you a lemon clearly, which is against the law, especially if car was sold having had a "multipoint check" and is under warranty. You have all the right to reject it.

I mean I could get it all repaired under warranty but why should I have to,, I'm not sure I can get a refund, I've had it six months, but the dealer HAVE to offer me a like for like vehicle,, surely can't happen again :-)
